The 2012 Escalade is a 4-door, up to 8-passenger luxury
sport-utility, available in two trims, the 2WD and the AWD. The Escalade
is a big roomy suv with plenty of hauling power and nice acceleration
for such a big rig. The fuel economy, of course, suffers and if one is
to own this vehicle they better not be worrying about gasing up. The
steering is slow to respond and because of the weight of this vehicle it
doesn't respond to well when reacting to emergency situations. The
brakes will stop this vehicle but don't expect "on a dime" ... more like
"on a silver dollar". Plenty of passenger and cargo room. Nice noise
isolation from wind, engine and road. The dashboard is well arranged and
has some classy looking interior trim.
