Even though Jeep is dicontinuing their base Jeep Cherokee model they are still offering the 2007 Jeep Grand Cherokee, which continues to have a loyal following. The new 2007 Grand Cherokee has some nice improvements like:

   The Overland is the premium version of the new Grand Cherokee and comes standard with the high-output 4.7L V-8 engine. The base Laredo model and step-up Limited come with a 4.0L inline-six. Either of these packages offer plenty of towing capacity. The new Jeep Liberty comes with new premium branding called the Renegade Premium which has standard power leather seats and a new overhead vehicle-information-center. The Liberty Sport continues as the base model, and the Limited as the top of the line.

   Another favorite is the new 2007 Jeep Wrangler. This vehicle also sports a new model designation called the Wrangler Rubicon, named after the famous trail. The Rubicon comes with locking differentials and Dana model 44 axles front and rear and a low 4:1 low-range transfer case, plus 31-in.-tall tires and diamond-plate sill guards to protect rocker panels from damage. Four-wheel disc brakes are optional on all models except the SE and standard on the Rubicon. This vehicle is still one of the best true off-road vehicles to date.

Jeep has been one of the favorites as an early version of what today is called the SUV. They built out a loyal following of believers before the marketplace became a hornet's nest of models and styles. Jeep has definitely lost their esteemed place as the early market model to own. However, they continue to revive and refine the various models they offer and will still have a loyal group of followers who like their various models.
